Fishing on the River Blackwater, Cork...
Anyone staying at Roche's bed and breakfast Cork, is permitted to fish a 1/2 mile private section of the river and enjoy salmon and trout fishing. The County Cork River Blackwater which is renowned for its game and course fishing, The Salmon season is open from the 1st February to 30th September. There is no closed season on course fishing.
When staying at Roche's a full time ghillie will be exclusively available for tutition and this is absolutely FREE of charge.
FISHING RATES for Blackwater, Cork:
• Trout: All season €20 EURO per day
• Salmon: May & June €40 EURO per day. July , August and September €120 EURO per day. This is an excellent period.
